Develop and manage strategic relationships with clients in the maritime sector, including shipowners, operators, port support companies and marinas, offering comprehensive marine diesel fueling solutions.
Work in a consultative manner, understanding operational needs and proposing fuel solutions and associated services that increase operational reliability and efficiency.
Grow the business through qualified prospecting, account management and identification of growth opportunities with a focus on profitability and recurring revenue.
Monitor bunkering/refueling operations, ensuring compliance, quality, safety and a high level of customer experience.
Analyze commercial and operational data, translating indicators into action plans and continuous improvement proposals.
Conduct on-site and remote sales visits for prospecting and relationship building.
Build and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline with clear visibility of targets and KPIs.
Develop new sales channels and opportunities and drive the development of the maritime segment.
Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate prices, volumes and contract terms.
Track orders, delivery logistics, quality measurement and customer satisfaction.
Report results, opportunities and risks to the management team, ensuring alignment with commercial targets.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in B2B sales (preferably marine fuels, oil & gas, logistics or energy), with active prospecting and account management.
Soft skills: Clear and concise communication, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, analytical mindset for market analysis and opportunity assessment, organization and autonomy to manage the sales cycle, resilience and results orientation.
Technical skills: Knowledge of fuel operations and consumption in the maritime sector, familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office, basic understanding of bunkering logistics and safety regulations (desirable).
Education: Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related fields). MBA or postgraduate degree (desirable).
Languages: Advanced/Fluent English.
