About this role
Role Overview
- Leading coding quality assurance (QA) specialists (auditors) that provide auditing of internal coders
- Auditing and coding various service types, including facility inpatient, emergency room, outpatient surgery, etc.
- Collaborating with multiple facilities on billing and coding guidelines
- Overseeing employee time management and annual evaluations
- Implementing and assessing coding education to ensure high quality coding accuracy
Requirements
- Ten or more years of production coding experience
- Minimum of five (5) years’ professional coding experience in physician practices
- Three to five (5) years management experience
- Training and mentoring experience
- Must have one of the following Coding Certifications : Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC); Certified Coding Specialist (CCS); RHIT or RHIA with coding experience
