Director of Billing, RCM

Role Overview

• Oversee all initial claim generation and submission processes
• Ensure timely and accurate claim submission
• Maintain clean claim rate targets (>95%)
• Lead clearinghouse edits and rejection management
• Perform root-cause analysis on billing issues
• Standardize billing workflows across the organization
• Partner with coding, credentialing, and payer teams
• Lead billing managers and supervisors
• Manage and oversee both offshore and onshore billing teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field
• 8–10+ years of revenue cycle experience, with focus on billing operations
• Strong knowledge of claim submission, payer requirements, and denial management
• Experience managing both onshore and offshore teams
• Familiarity with billing systems (e.g., Tebra or similar platforms)
