Provide expert technical advice and guidance to LAS Service personnel and customers
Act as the senior escalation point for complex and high-impact technical issues
Support and oversee diagnostic evaluation of equipment and component failures, providing guidance on repair, replacement, and corrective action strategies
Manage dissemination and implementation of factory technical bulletins, product updates, and HSE communications
Act as the primary conduit between factory engineering teams and local service operations
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Aftersales Technical Support personnel
Support development of technical capability and consistency across the service organisation
Requirements
Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) – Diesel Fitter
Demonstrated experience in Earthmoving or heavy industrial environments
Proven experience supporting OEM equipment and systems
Post-trade qualifications in Mobile Plant Technology or a related technical discipline
Advanced diagnostic and fault-analysis capability across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Strong technical advisory and communication skills
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy
Experience with technical databases, reporting systems, and documentation
Ability to analyse performance data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
Structured, analytical problem-solving approach with high attention to detail
