Operate and administer network and security environments, ensuring the stability and performance of data communication services and following Scania's global standards.
Identify, analyze and resolve medium-complexity incidents involving networks and security, escalating higher-criticality cases to senior levels when necessary.
Contribute to the documentation of environments and procedures, ensuring operational network and security information is standardized and kept up to date.
Requirements
Intermediate English
Knowledge of SD-WAN
Experience migrating and implementing networks involving switches, routers and low-latency switches
Advanced knowledge of Layer 2 protocols (STP) and Layer 3 protocols (OSPF)
Advanced experience with segmented Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks
Knowledge of wireless networking fundamentals: radio frequency, channels, overlap and IoT protocols
Knowledge of WAN networks
Knowledge of redundancy protocols (HSRP and VRRP)
Experience blocking traffic using Layer 2 and Layer 3 Access Control Lists (ACLs)
Ability to set up and manage monitoring and management tools, and to operate tools for conducting wireless site surveys
Application of best practices based on ITIL methodology
Completed university degree
Experience in network infrastructure and security
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
