Support project and operational activities by coordinating the safe, efficient, and timely movement of materials and equipment
Partner with suppliers, carriers, QA/QC, and project teams to execute shipments, manage documentation, and ensure materials meet schedule and quality requirements
Perform multifaceted tasks and projects of moderate complexity requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
Support procurement processes
Handle requisition traffic and procure quality materials/equipment in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures
Coordinate communication between internal customers and vendors
Facilitate the resolution of disputes and claims
Supervise required inspections, expediting and logistics support
Analyze and report on market conditions and identify competitive opportunities to initiate competitive bid process; coordinate and facilitate pre-competitive meetings and provide input to bid awards
Plan, schedule, and execute transportation activities for materials, fabricated equipment, and critical project components, coordinating with internal teams and third‑party carriers to ensure appropriate equipment selection, routing, and delivery timelines
Issue Release to Ship notifications and verify supplier shipping readiness, including packing slips, material test reports, inspection documentation, and compliance with shipping prerequisites
Track shipments from pickup through delivery, proactively resolving delays, routing changes, carrier issues, and supporting oversize and overweight haul coordination, including site access and special handling requirements
Communicate shipping requirements and documentation expectations to suppliers and carriers; review carrier qualifications, insurance, and safety requirements; and coordinate RFQs for transportation services to support cost‑competitive carrier selection

Requirements
Required: High School diploma/GED and a minimum four (4) years' experience
Preferred: Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
Deep knowledge in logistics, domestic and international
