Procurement Advisory Lead

Role Overview

• Design and execute end-to-end procurement savings projects with customers, from initial opportunity identification through negotiation support to validated savings realization.
• Apply sophisticated methodologies including cost breakdowns, should-costing analyses, and alternative supplier identification to create tangible savings opportunities for customers.
• Prepare and lead high-stakes supplier negotiations alongside customers, leveraging data-driven insights and market expertise to secure optimal commercial terms.
• Partner with our product team to embed procurement best practices and cost-saving methodologies directly into the Tacto platform, creating scalable value for all customers.
• Build capabilities within our Customer Experience organization by training Customer Value Managers and laying the foundation for a dedicated, high-impact advisory function.
• Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI to accelerate the work of your team, experiment with new approaches, and share successful workflows – contributing to Tacto's culture of high-velocity execution and innovation.

Requirements

• 5-20+ years of experience in procurement consulting, ideally with significant exposure to manufacturing or industrial companies
• You've delivered measurable cost savings through strategic procurement initiatives with a proven track record of results
• You possess deep expertise in cost analysis methodologies, supplier optimization, and data-driven negotiation strategies
• You excel at building strong customer relationships and can translate technical concepts into business impact
• You combine strategic thinking with practical execution, able to design frameworks while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver results
• You have experience building and developing teams, with a talent for knowledge transfer and capability building
• You bring an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in environments where you can shape new offerings
• You have excellent communication skills in both German and English
