Deliver accurate, timely, and effective research in response to requests from consultants, firm leaders, and support staff.
Conduct financial and legal research using external resources including but not limited to Bloomberg, Capital IQ, LSEG/Refinitiv, DealStats, Factiva, Lexis, Westlaw, and BloombergLaw.
Synthesize research findings into clear, concise written outputs that highlight key insights and provide context for the target audience.
Document requests in a shared system and prioritize competing requests accordingly.
Develop expertise with all available research platforms and assist internal users with questions as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and professional standards in handling sensitive client, engagement, and business information.
Collaborate with Research director and research staff to share knowledge, contribute to internal initiatives, and inform procurement decisions.
Requirements
Library Science degree (MLIS) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience conducting research in a corporate or legal setting
Familiarity with corporate information such as SEC filings, financial statements, analyst reports, and economic or industry data
Substantial direct experience using financial databases like Bloomberg and Capital IQ to support and fulfill complex requests
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings clearly and concisely
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, request‑driven environment
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
