Providing Project Management support, to include developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, creating and submitting program related documentation, preparing and presenting briefings, providing full conference/meeting support, and preparing senior level strategic briefings and metrics as required by the Government
Supporting all aspects of the development and implementation of IT services projects
Providing analysis and recommendations in support of the resolution of IT-related problems; executing the recommendations as directed by the client.
Aiding in the coordination of activities and documents to ensure alignment with plans and directives for delivery of IT solutions
Overall daily responsibility for the delivery of all work products and services on this program, to include technical artifacts, reports, presentations and briefings to the client
Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management, planning and project team
Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Ensures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, project team and clients
Ensures production schedules are met or exceeded
Ensures engineering & technical resources are used effectively and appropriately.
Coordinates resolution of deliverable-related problems
Ensures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services and deliverables
Prioritize efforts to ensure successful client outcome
Uses strong planning and organizational skills to ensure timely completion of all milestones and efforts with minimal client disruption
Provides proactive and responsive customer focused leadership, reaching back to corporate resources to mitigate risks and resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements
High School Diploma required
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) required within 6 months of start date
At least 5 years relevant Project Management experience across the entire project life cycle
Excellent leadership skills (leading teams of more than 10 personnel)
Experience managing projects across multiple locations simultaneously
Related industry experience in information technology or engineering
Working knowledge Microsoft Office Tools; specifically Excel and Project
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
