Occupational Therapist

Role Overview

• Conduct developmental assessments
• Provide physical therapy/occupational therapy/speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model
• Follow each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
• Work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers' confidence and skills
• Provide services in the child's natural environment, in families' homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports

Requirements

• Occupational Therapy license
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
