Senior Power Controls, Grid Planning Engineer

Role Overview

• Support large isolated power systems integrating equipment
• Provide independent technical oversight of plant control philosophies
• Validate integration between GT controls, BESS EMS, SCADA
• Conduct engineering design reviews and technical due diligence
• Opportunity for travel within North America and internationally

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 12+ years’ experience in power generation controls
• Demonstrated experience with islanded or isolated grids
• Strong understanding of dynamic performance studies
• Familiarity with gas turbine control systems
• Experience reviewing EPC deliverables
• Knowledge of protection coordination
• Strong communication skills
• Valued but not required: Master's degree
• Experience in technical due diligence
