About this role
Role Overview
Assist Practice Groups Vice President in all areas, including launching high-priority project initiatives, planning and promoting events, and organizing working groups
Schedule, prepare agendas, and track attendance of Practice Group Executive Committee calls
Generate mailing lists and manage weekly and other mass mailings
Oversee Practice Groups webinars, introducing the program and speakers and monitoring the Zoom system during the program
Assist Vice President and Practice Groups Executive Committees with planning in-person events and conferences
Draft promotional copy for marketing emails and event pages on the Federalist Society website
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
1-3 years of experience
Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills
Creative thinking and problem solving
Excellent customer service skills
Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
Ability to support occasional evening events in the DC area
Interest in and curiosity about the law
Strong commitment to the mission of The Federalist Society
