Staff Project Manager, Medical Device, Product Lifecycle Management

Role Overview

• Manage project funnels and define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements
• Lead cross-functional R&D teams to execute project plans effectively, monitoring progress and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
• Manage expectations and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure all R&D projects adhere to relevant quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal development processes
• Provide technical oversight to guide discussions, challenge assumptions, and support problem-solving within project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Material Science, Electrical Engineering)
• Prefer 9+ years of experience in technical project management within an R&D environment; OR Master’s + preference for 7+ years; OR PhD with preference for 4+ years
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex R&D projects from inception to commercialization
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Asana, Trello)
