Administrative Duties: Docket deadlines, maintain attorney and client records, prepare/organize binders, conflicts checks, open new client and matter files, and manage calendars. Coordinate and schedule messenger, overnight delivery or courier services as needed
Coordinate appointments, meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements
Receptionist coverage, as needed
Project Coordination: Regularly check in with assigned executive legal secretaries and attorneys to ensure projects are on track, exercise judgment on when to seek guidance, and assign tasks to support staff while ensuring timely completion. Communicate project status clearly to all team members
Personal Development: Attend training classes

Team Support: Assist fellow secretaries and additional attorneys as priorities dictate
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Adhere to schedule by being timely on breaks, lunches and meetings
Requirements
1+ years’ experience in a professional office preferred
GED or High School Diploma
Self-starter with a high degree of attention to detail
Ability to accurately type 50+ wpm
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Word
Ability and willingness to learn new programs and program updates
Ability to express self effectively, both orally and in writing
Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
A highly professional demeanor and appearance; adhere to dress code
Ability to work in a team-oriented, service focused environment and to handle stressful situations in calm, composed manner
Ability to prioritize tasks and to complete projects with minimal supervision
Ability to follow client confidentiality guidelines
Ability to pay close attention to detail and be highly organized and accurate
Strong time management skills.
