Optical Retail Sales Associate

Role Overview

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings
• Ensure lab technicians have accurate measurements and prescription information
• Dispense completed glasses to patients
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
• Process payment transactions/refunds using in-house POS system
• Assess and interpret patient needs based on prescription, facial features, and lifestyle
• Take necessary measurements like pupillary distance
• Prepare work order for lab with all pertinent information
• Adjust completed glasses to fit patients

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working in retail, customer service, or sales
• Experience working in the optical industry is preferred
