Strategic Sourcing Lead for “Technology & Innovation” within Group Procurement.
Support the development of a strategic vision for specific categories in collaboration with the Head of Department and stakeholders.
Optimize DFDS’s global spend in hardware, software, and IT consulting, focusing on cost reduction and quality assurance.
Run end-to-end sourcing processes from preparation to execution.
Negotiate with suppliers and execute agreements.
Facilitate supplier meetings and drive relationships.
Follow up on spending and category targets.
Requirements
At least Bachelors’ degree in a relevant field such as in Business Management, financial, commercial, economical, or technical discipline.
Min. 2 years of experience from a procurement function covering strategic procurement and supplier performance/management.
Alternatively, min. 4 years of experience in IT / Technology function in a role that interfaces with suppliers and covers commercial / contractual aspects.
Great interpersonal skills in engaging with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels of the organization and located in different geographies.
Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines.
Self-driven individual, capable of handling several procurement projects at the same time.
Sincere interest and passion for different IT and digital technologies.
Excellent English language skills, oral and written.
Prior work experience in IT & Digital strategic procurement is considered an advantage.
Commercial legal experience is considered an advantage.
Knowledge of the most common IT cost components and IT commercial clauses is considered an advantage.
Some experience with agile procurement and adaptive sourcing is considered an advantage.
Experience and knowledge about RfX processes, execution, and negotiation strategies is considered an advantage.
Proven experience of negotiating with tier 1 and tier 2 IT & Digital suppliers is considered an advantage.
