Mechanical Engineer I

Role Overview

• Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging
• Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified Cisco designs
• Directly support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication
• Provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation

Requirements

• Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or relevant degree program
• 1 year of relevant experience, High School Diploma + 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelors + 0 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX)
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++) for automation or data analysis is a plus
• Able to legally live and work in the country without visa support or sponsorship
