About this role
Role Overview
Establish profitable growth and develop market penetration for WEG Commercial products
Build customer base via new business development
Continuously grow "share of wallet" with existing customers
Define optimal markets and offerings for respective pursuits
Create and execute a strategic growth plan
Work closely with manufacturing, Customer Service and Application Engineering to ensure proper specification submission and interpretation
Supply technical support and project management to other WEG sales channels
Evaluate opportunities and determine viability
Collaborate with other WCM associates involved in expansion of the business
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent technical work experience
5+ years of applicable industrial Sales/Engineering experience in power transmission products
Experience calling on technical OEMs and proposing appropriate product solutions
Excellent communication skills at all levels and all disciplines of an organization
Ability and willingness to travel 50%-70%
Capable of developing and implementing both short
and long-term growth targets
Experience with CRM (i.e., Salesforce.com) systems preferred.
