About this role
Role Overview
Establish profitable growth and develop market penetration for WEG Commercial products.
Build customer base via new business development.
Continuously grow "share of wallet" with existing customers.
Define optimal markets and develop Ideal Customer Profile with leadership team.
Identify project opportunities and communicate throughout organization as appropriate.
Supply technical support and project management to other WEG sales channels.
Evaluate opportunities and determine viability.
Employ project management skills to lead technical discussions.
Collaborate with other associates in business expansion.
Create and execute a strategic growth plan.
Work closely with manufacturing, Customer Service, and Application Engineering to ensure proper specifications.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent technical work experience in the motor or power transmission products industry.
Experience calling on technical OEMs and proposing appropriate product solutions.
Experience and proven success in evaluating and navigating through complex commercial business situations.
Ability and willingness to travel 50%-70%.
Capable of developing and implementing both short
and long-term growth targets.
Must be self-motivated and goal orientated.
Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Able to identify business opportunities and bring short
and long-term projects to completion.
Able to build strong relationships with different levels of management.
Experience with CRM (i.e., Salesforce.com) systems preferred.
5+ years of applicable industrial Sales/Engineering experience in power transmission products.
