About this role
Role Overview
Establish profitable growth for WEG Commercial products in assigned territory
Develop market penetration and build customer base via new business development
Continuously grow "share of wallet" with existing customers
Collaborate with leadership team to define optimal markets and offerings
Develop Ideal Customer Profile and identify project opportunities
Supply technical support and project management to other WEG sales channels
Employ project management skills to lead technical meetings and discussions
Create and execute a strategic growth plan
Work closely with manufacturing, Customer Service and Application Engineering to ensure proper specification submission and interpretation
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent technical work experience in the motor or power transmission products industry
Experience calling on technical OEMs and proposing appropriate product solutions
Excellent communication skills at all levels and all disciplines of an organization
Experience and proven success in evaluating and navigating through complex commercial business situations
Ability and willingness to travel 50%-70%
Capable of developing and implementing both short
and long-term growth targets
Must be self-motivated and goal orientated
Able to work in a collaborative team environment
Able to identify business opportunities and bring short
and long-term projects to completion
Able to build strong relationships with different levels of management
Experience with CRM (i.e., Salesforce.com) systems preferred
