Perform Approved Vendor List Audits of AMC AVL Tier 1 Vendors. AVL Audits ensure regulatory compliance of AMC’s maintenance providers and ensure high performance of vendors to impact the reduction of cost and out of service time of AMC aircraft and articles
Perform Maintenance Base Inspections and tracking. These inspections include evaluations of processes and procedures to ensure company compliance with internal manuals and standards and external regulatory requirements to identify potential gaps and/or opportunities to improve organizational policies, procedures, and processes
Perform Fuel Quality Audits and tracking of AMC Fuel Quality Program to ensure company compliance with internal procedures and standards and external regulatory requirements
Assist Director of Quality with QA Dashboard management and review of manuals and revisions
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and three to five years’ related experience with a Part 135 or Part 121 operator; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor’s degree in an Aviation related field (I.e. Safety, Engineering, Maintenance, or other related field) preferred
Previous helicopter air ambulance operator experience
Knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations Part 14 is a required
3+ years’ previous QA experience preferred
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Safety Management System experience preferred
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and Guidance Documentation, Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, and DOT drug and alcohol regulations preferred
Demonstrates high critical thinking and reasoning skills and strong attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment that requires ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of collaboration with all members of staff as well as external clients/customers
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
FAA Certification
(Airframe and/or Powerplant required,
(Inspection Authorization) preferred)
