Leading the Procurement activities from the RFP to the contract execution for Solar (PV), BESS, and Wind Projects in US.
Define and implement the Procurement Strategy for the Projects in collaboration with the Global EPC Lead and the Category Manager for the main equipment.
Leading complex commercial negotiations with EPC, BOP, HV, and major equipment suppliers, balancing cost, schedule, scope, performance guarantees, and risk allocation, and supporting contract execution through change management, claims support, and close-out
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with EPC, BOP, HV Contractors in the relevant markets and geography.
Providing commercial and procurement input during early-stage project development, including CAPEX and OPEX estimates, sourcing assumptions, contract structures, and risk considerations for Business Development and M&A activities
Partnering with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure procurement, commercial, and performance decisions support successful project delivery
Monitoring fleet-wide data quality and performance trends, identifying data gaps or flat-lined signals, coordinating with site instrumentation teams to resolve issues, and supporting Root Cause Analysis using historical PI data
Preparing and distributing recurring operational and performance reports for leadership, highlighting generation, availability, efficiency, and reliability metrics to support decision-making
Monitoring supplier markets, pricing trends, lead times, and supply chain risks, and contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes, reporting tools, and commercial standards based on lessons learned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or a related discipline, with 7+ years of experience supporting capital projects in renewable energy, EPC, utility, IPP, or infrastructure environments
Demonstrated experience supporting utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and or wind projects in the U.S., including leading complex commercial negotiations with EPC, BOP, and HV contractors, and major equipment suppliers
Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and workstreams across cross-functional teams, with a strong understanding of CAPEX and OPEX drivers, total cost of ownership, and risk allocation
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Finance, Legal, and site-level teams
Willingness to travel as required and fluency in English
