Role Overview
- Manage day-to-day responsibilities for financing execution, financial modeling, pricing, due diligence, and interaction with external partners
- Represent the PF team as a “go-to” subject matter expert on financial modeling and renewable energy financing
- Train and mentor analysts and associates and educate internal colleagues
- Establish and manage project investor community relationships including tax and cash equity, debt, consultants, etc.
- Manage project finance investor due diligence tasks including maintenance of data room, and take deals to closing
- Take ownership of project finance valuation models and modeling tools, ensuring up to date market data and internal pricing structures
- Remain current on rapidly evolving market developments and participate in industry events
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of relevant work experience
- a minimum of five (5) years in solar project finance and/or tax equity structuring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Expertise in solar and/or battery energy storage project finance modeling
- Working knowledge of project finance documents, including key terms and conditions
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with investors in the renewable energy sector
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel modeling capabilities specific to project finance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
