Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components in the Defence sector
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical designs meet safety standards, functionality requirements, and project timelines
Perform diagnostic checks and troubleshooting for electrical and electromechanical systems (e.g., power distribution, control systems, wiring harnesses)
Carry out hands-on repair and maintenance of electrical components and systems
Conduct engineering studies and analysis for military electrical systems
Work with internal teams and local industry to develop local repair capability for electrical equipment
Prepare and maintain electrical system specifications, design documents, and technical reports
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including electrical safety standards
Requirements
Knowledge in Electrical Engineering or other relevant disciplines (e.g., Electronics, Mechatronics, Power Engineering)
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices
Proficient in report writing and good presentation skills to stakeholders at all levels
Knowledge of electrical design tools and CAD software is an advantage
Able to interact well with internal teams and customers
Willing to work in camp sites and comply with camp regulations
Possess Class 3 license is an advantage
