Supports the Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice group and is assigned to designated client matters, projects, and attorneys.
Manages a high-volume docket of commercial bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
Serves as a primary point of contact for attorneys, clients, trustees, and court personnel on assigned matters, under attorney supervision.
Research, investigate, analyze, and summarize facts and factual issues relevant to the practice area.
Draft and prepare bankruptcy pleadings and related documents, including petitions and fee applications.
Track critical deadlines, hearings, and case milestones, maintaining effective case management systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or any combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential duties of the position.
Minimum eight (8) years of paralegal experience in the bankruptcy and restructuring practice areas.
Certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program beneficial.
Experience utilizing database and file management systems, such as iManage and other records management platforms.
Experience utilizing restructuring financial research tools, including Reorg, Debtwire, and Capital IQ.
