Part-time Accounting Specialist – Financial Accounting, Optional Payroll (DATEV)

Role Overview

• Ongoing accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger)
• Review, coding, and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
• Bank and cash postings as well as account reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparation of documentation for the tax advisor
• Travel expense and expense claim processing
• Maintenance and improvement of internal accounting processes
• Optional – Payroll: Preparation and execution of the monthly payroll
• Maintenance of employee master data
• Communication with health insurers, authorities, and the tax advisor
• Support with payroll-related queries

Requirements

• Completed commercial vocational training, additional qualification in accounting, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in financial accounting
• Confident use of DATEV (FiBu, Mittelstand Faktura)
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style
• Discretion and a sense of responsibility when handling sensitive data
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
