Engineer and evolve DevOps practices that support both on‑premises and cloud environments
Build reusable enterprise patterns (modules, templates, pipelines, and runbooks) that enable consistent infrastructure and platform delivery across hybrid environments
Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to design and implement platform capabilities that meet mission, security, and operational requirements
Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and related tooling
Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, auditing, and lifecycle management using tools such as Ansible and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
Engineer and standardize enterprise capabilities for Linux‑based systems, container build and runtime practices, and Kubernetes‑based deployments
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab Runners or similar
Apply FinOps principles to improve cost visibility, accountability, and optimization across both on‑premises and cloud environments
Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues across Linux, containers, Kubernetes, and hybrid dependencies
Requirements
Three years of continuous U.S. residency (required for government security credential)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or enterprise infrastructure roles
Strong hands‑on experience with Linux systems in enterprise environments
Strong experience with containers (Docker/OCI) and Kubernetes in production settings
Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or comparable tooling
Demonstrated ability to apply FinOps practices through practical cost optimization and automation
