Portfolio implementation of private markets mandates and semi-liquid programs
Create bespoke portfolio proposals for existing and new clients, focusing on strategic asset allocation, investment returns/risk and cash flow modelling
Together with senior portfolio managers and client sales professionals, support with client acquisition and retention
Point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on portfolio construction, relative value across private markets and efficient use of capital across the firm's program range
Initiation and implementation of global portfolio management initiatives, contributing to the development of innovative & bespoke private market offerings
Analyze and model life insurance liabilities to inform investment decisions and optimize capital efficiency
Support the development of investment strategies that align with risk appetite, liability profiles, and regulatory constraints
Collaborate with investment and finance teams to develop and maintain asset-liability matching (ALM) strategies for life insurance portfolios
Develop and maintain stochastic models to assess risk exposures and support economic capital and embedded value analysis
Monitor and report on investment performance, interest rate risk, credit risk, and market risk from an actuarial perspective
Requirements
Top academic credentials (MSc/MBA preferred), coursework emphasis on Business Strategy, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, and/or Actuarial Science will be prioritized
Professional qualification (e.g. CFA, CAIA, FIA, FSA) desirable but not a requirement
6-9 years' work experience in private markets/private equity investments, portfolio construction in multi-asset contexts, and/or insurance investment management with liability modeling experience
Understanding of private market investing styles, portfolio construction principles, asset-liability matching strategies, and insurance liability modeling
Experience with stochastic modeling, risk assessment, and regulatory frameworks in insurance contexts
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and risk management tools
Strong written and oral communication skills in English with ability to present complex investment and actuarial concepts
Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed in both portfolio management and insurance investment domains
