Staking of distribution facilities
Project estimation and preparation of construction prints using electronic design/estimation software
Report to the office and collaborate with the team
Initiate designs for construction or reconstruction of both overhead and underground distribution facilities
Take personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy and time constraints of work product

Must possess a High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Possess a current Texas Drivers License with an insurable driving record
Ability to represent self professionally in both M&S and the clients image
Ability to stay abreast with the changing technologies, work planning, and design methodologies associated with Electric Distribution Design
Ability to mentor and/or train others staff members
Proficient with the design of both overhead and underground electric distribution facilities
Ability to recognize electric distribution framing and components 4kV through 35kV
Ability to perform distribution line design calculations
Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task several projects through different requirements of design iterations and priority shifts
Proficient with the use of a laptop computer, and related software programs including, MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
Strong skills of time management and multi-tasking
Ability to work outdoors for extended hours in various climate conditions and travel, including overnight stays for up to five nights
