Role Overview
- Proofread content to identify and correct errors in spelling, grammar, formatting, and consistency
- Carry out quality control checks to ensure content meets established standards and house style
- Work within defined editorial and production processes to support accurate and timely outputs
- Collaborate with other proofreaders, production, and editorial colleagues as required
- Contribute to maintaining clear and accurate records in line with team processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in proofreading, quality control, or a similarly detail‑focused editorial or production role
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong written English skills
- Ability to work independently and methodically within established processes
- BA or MA degree (science background not required)
- Reliability and professionalism to deliver consistent, high‑quality work in a part‑time role
