Bid Manager, Defense Sector

Role Overview

• Coordinating national and international defense tenders in close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Legal, Finance and Project Management
• Analyzing and assessing tenders for feasibility, compliance and portfolio fit
• Ensuring governance and compliance, including internal processes, quality standards and export control requirements
• Centrally consolidating and providing all tender-relevant data across departments
• Managing procurement portals and tender frameworks to provide structured support to the sales organization

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in tender management within the defense or aerospace sector
• Strong knowledge of export control regulations and relevant compliance requirements
• Fluent, business-level English; German skills are an advantage
• High attention to detail and the ability to work in a structured manner under tight deadlines
• Confident use of MS Office and tender management tools
