You perform feasibility studies and experimental setups in our laboratory for the design and testing of camera systems.
You independently develop applications in the field of industrial machine vision on PC-based and smart camera systems to solve optical inspection and identification tasks. We typically use graphical programming interfaces for this.
You professionally and on schedule manage specific application projects, including installation and commissioning at the customer’s site.
You prepare project-specific documentation.
You take responsibility for the service and maintenance of already installed applications/systems.
You occasionally develop simple robot programs for camera and part guidance (preferably after thorough prior training).
Requirements
Completed technical vocational training with professional experience (e.g., as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, or IT specialist) and/or further training as a technician in automation or electrical engineering, or a completed technical degree (e.g., automation engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar).
Preferably prior experience in industrial machine vision (robotics not strictly required).
Preferably experience in an industrial automation environment.
Enjoy learning new things and developing professionally.
Excellent German language skills, spoken and written.
Good English skills.
Driving license (car).
Willingness to travel for short assignments within Germany and elsewhere in Europe.
