Planning, provisioning, operation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, IT services, and systems
Ensuring smooth operation of IT infrastructure and services
Ensuring IT security
Evaluating, configuring, and implementing system extensions to meet new requirements
Managing IT procurement as well as vendor and resource management
Requirements
Good degree in an IT-related field or equivalent qualification
Professional experience in system/network administration
Technical knowledge in the following areas: Windows or Linux servers (Ubuntu)
Web services (Apache, IIS)
Mail services (MS Exchange, Postfix)
IP in LAN and WAN, DHCP & DNS
Network & system management (Nagios, SNMP)
Experience with virtualization (VMware)
