About this role

Key role in the development and management of GRC structures
Establishment, development and implementation of internal policies, standards and processes for data protection and compliance
Monitoring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements
Implementation of technical and organizational measures to ensure data security
Identification, assessment and management of risks in a national and international context
Advising and training internal departments on compliance and data protection topics
Monitoring regulatory developments and deriving strategic measures
Analyzing and optimizing internal processes as well as preparing reports and recommendations for action for executive management
Central interface between executive management, business units and external audit bodies

Completed university degree in law, business law, business administration or a comparable program
Many years of relevant professional experience in governance, risk, compliance and data protection
Solid legal and practical knowledge in the areas of data protection/GDPR and compliance standards, ideally with relevant additional qualifications (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM, CDPO)
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Structured, pragmatic working style
High sense of responsibility
Strong communication skills and assertiveness
Business-fluent German and English
