Senior Architect – Cloud-Native OSS Innovation, 3GPP NRM, IRIS2 Satellite Networks

Role Overview

• Design and model the supervision architecture for a cutting-edge 5G NTN system based on a MEO satellite constellation.
• Serve as the NRM expert, responsible for modeling the CU/DU split architecture of gNBs onboard satellites.
• Co-drive the design of the Mission Control Center (MCC) component.
• Collaborate with the MCC software developer to ensure supervision logic is accurately implemented and visualized.
• Bring a flexible way of working and an adaptive mindset to a dynamic development environment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer engineering or software engineering or like field (a combination of experience and education will be considered)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in Software Design and Analysis
• Experience with OSS, RAN orchestration, or 3GPP-compliant supervision systems
• Understanding of Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) is a strong asset
• Comfortable with modeling complex systems using C4
• Fluency in English, any other EU language is considered an asset
• Eligibility for ESA/EU SECRET personnel security clearances is essential
