Work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program
Play a key role in developing the Lunar Permanence system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth
Use technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight
Requirements
B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial engineering, or a similar technical field
2+ years of experience with system engineering principles and processes throughout various phases of the design lifecycle
Familiarity with requirements management tools
Ability to interpret technical documentation and diagrams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced degree in Engineering disciplines, particularly mechanical, aerospace and materials (preferred)
Knowledge of launch vehicle design and requirements (preferred)
Experience with qualification of electro-mechanical hardware (preferred)
System development/integration experience, preferably with aerospace hardware (preferred)
Knowledge of systems engineering practices and their rightsizing for rapid development programs (preferred)
Experience with verification planning, coordination of verification evidence, and development/delivery of verification closure notices (preferred)
Advanced experience with systems engineering tools such as Jama, DOORS Next Gen, etc. (preferred)
Experience with project planning and implementation (preferred)
