Manage the product roadmap for identified areas by defining and delivering the next generation of insurance services.
Develop innovative product solutions and execute strategic go-to-market plans.
Cultivate essential business relationships to seize market opportunities.
Provide mentorship to junior product managers.
Nurture vendor relationships and foster cross-domain collaboration.
Ensure that product direction aligns seamlessly with organizational objectives.
Efficiently manage the product backlog by prioritizing and making trade-offs between customer experience, performance, and operational load or competing features.
Drive decision making and product launches in partnership with engineering, UX, operations, business development, third party vendors and other cross-functional teams.
Regularly update stakeholders and customers on the roadmap and product status.
Utilize data, usability studies, research, and market analysis to inform product strategies.
Establish and track key metrics for product success.
Develop clear business requirements and user stories for product specifications and architecture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience in product management
5+ years product management and/or product design
5+ years managing complex initiatives from initiation to completion using product management processes and best practices.
Experience in defining and implementing product metrics to track performance and success.
Experience handling all stages of product delivery.
Experience contributing to tech discussions and product strategy.
Experience managing technical products or online services.
Experience representing various customers and stakeholders during planning.
Property and Casualty Insurance experience preferred.
Highly technical background including knowledge around PaaS, APIs, UI, etc.
Prior experience working directly with customers and agents.
