Role Overview
- Lead and support payroll process improvement projects to strengthen accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Act as a payroll subject matter expert, providing technical guidance across projects and specific requirements.
- Validate payroll processes to ensure quality and alignment with corporate and legal commitments.
- Ensure solutions are consistent with other payroll processes and aligned with the broader HR end-to-end ecosystem.
- Manage compliance and risk by identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with HR global and regional teams to deploy payroll improvement initiatives and projects.
- Provide insights and local context to resolve operational issues and support decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, governance practices, and process optimisation.
Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources, Business, or Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll processes, with deep technical knowledge in taxation, benefits, and Chilean labor legislation.
- Experience in payroll project delivery within global organizations, ideally in the mining industry.
- Proficiency with SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, and advanced Excel (Power BI is an advantage).
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
