Supporting the implementation of new technology and applications across Middle Office Investment Operations
Work closely with operations teams, technology partners, and external vendors to gather requirements
Document workflows, support system integration, and drive operational readiness
Collect, document, and manage business requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Analyze current-state processes and support operations in designing future-state workflows
Develop and execute test strategies, test cases, and expected results to validate new workflows and system functionality; maintain clear and comprehensive documentation
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify operational gaps, pain points, and opportunities for optimization
Work independently or with management to develop creative, scalable solutions for operational challenges
Partner with technology teams and external vendors to ensure new integrations meet business needs
Ensure all processes and systems adhere to relevant internal controls, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements
Requirements
University degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science; MBA, CFA, FRM or similar certification is a plus
5+ years of Business Analysis experience within an Application Management environment within the financial services industry
High level of proficiency of BlackRock’s Aladdin investment platform is required
Strong understanding of middle-office processes, including trade capture & trade lifecycle, settlement operations, cash management, corporate actions, and reconciliations
Experience supporting system implementations, large-scale transformations, or operational migrations is needed
Strong analytical and documentation skills, including process mapping and workflow design
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a global and cross-functional environment
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams, articulate requirements, and secure stakeholder alignment
