Fleet Maintenance Manager

Role Overview

• Oversee maintenance of a fleet of up to 91+ trucks and machinery across multiple shops.
• Provide leadership to on-site technicians and maintenance supervisors.
• Coordinate and schedule all repair work to increase productivity.
• Monitor shops' operational performance and efficiency; implement improvements.
• Conduct daily shop huddles, performance evaluations, and employee training.
• Manage administrative matters including payroll and records of maintenance performed.
• Perform inspections of repair work and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor for a large fleet of vehicles or multiple site locations.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (Haz Com, Lock Out Tag Out, Fire Protection).
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Root Cause Problem Solving skills.
• Automotive Service Excellence T2 Diesel Engine, T Master Certified. T3 Drive T4 Brake TS Suspension and Steering certifications preferred.
• Certified Automotive Fleet Management (CAFM) Financial Systems, Risk Management, Information Management, Asset Management, Vehicle Fuel Management certifications.
