Role Overview
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training on neurological conditions and patient monitoring for healthcare professionals and clinical partners globally
- Provide onboarding and ongoing education for staff involved in Parkinson’s care and patient monitoring
- Lead education that supports the effective use of Empatica’s wearable technology and digital biomarkers
- Ensure consistent, high-quality training as Empatica expands its neurology capabilities following the PKG Health acquisition
- Serve as a primary point of contact and subject matter resource for education and best practices in neurological monitoring
- Collaborate with clinicians, other healthcare professionals, and external partners across hospitals and other healthcare institutions
- Ultimately, improve patient outcomes by strengthening staff expertise in Parkinson’s care and research
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position, at Empatica we focus less on years of experience and more on talent
- Clinical background in healthcare (e.g., physician, nurse, physiotherapist, physician associate, or allied health professional), or equivalent **hands-on experience working in neurology or movement disorders. **
- ** Experience working with people living with Parkinson’s disease, ideally within neurology clinics, specialist Parkinson’s services, research programs, or multidisciplinary care teams is preferred.**
- Demonstrated experience in education, training, or professional development within a healthcare or research setting is a plus
- A passion for technology and innovation
