Senior Compliance Specialist, QHSE

Role Overview

• Analyze QHSE performance data and support initiatives designed to improve safety, environmental, and quality performance
• Conduct QHSE assessments including risk assessments, environmental aspects and impacts assessments, and operational compliance reviews
• Participate in accident and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified, implemented, and properly documented
• Evaluate operational practices against regulatory requirements and corporate QHSE standards
• Support identification and monitoring of applicable local, state, and federal QHSE regulations
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Corporate QHSE Management System
• Support the development and coordination of QHSE training programs
• Monitor customer, regulatory, and industry QHSE requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, safety, environmental management, or a related field within transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Experience supporting regulatory compliance programs, safety initiatives, or environmental management systems
• Experience supporting or implementing QHSE management systems is preferred
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, brokerage, transportation, or supply chain operations is beneficial
• Professional certifications related to safety, environmental management, compliance, or auditing are a plus
