Responsible for designing, building, and operating highly secure network infrastructures (including isolated air-gapped systems) with a focus on NVIDIA Mellanox
Planning and designing tailored network setups in close collaboration with customers (including on customer-owned hardware stacks)
Configuring and optimizing complex routing scenarios using BGP, MPLS, and IPv6 in a multi-tenant environment
Developing and maintaining automation (e.g., using Ansible, Python) for efficient updates, scaling, and seamless hardware integrations during live operations
Performing root-cause analysis and troubleshooting, and continuously improving monitoring to ensure high availability

Several years of experience in network engineering, ideally in an ISP environment or large data centers
Solid knowledge of data-center networking, specifically with Cumulus Linux and Juniper Junos
Deep understanding of network concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IPv6, VXLAN/EVPN)
Proficient with the Linux command line and experienced in scripting/automation (Bash, Python)
Practical experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform is a plus
Structured working style, strong documentation skills, and excellent German and English language skills
