About this role
Role Overview
Enthusiastic mentor for a culture of quality and attention to detail
Strategic perspective in software development (including automation)

Prepare and execute system deployments
Monitor, delegate, and resolve systemic incidents in the production environment
Work with the development team to identify opportunities for process improvement
Refactor system functionalities based on technical debt and performance improvements

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled from the 4th semester onward in Systems Analysis, Informatics, Computer Science, or another IT-related program
Development experience with Java 8+
4+ years of experience as a Java Developer
Experience developing APIs and strong knowledge of REST architecture
Knowledge of programming best practices (Clean Code, Refactoring)
Experience with relational databases – advanced SQL
Use of messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Artemis/ActiveMQ and/or Kafka)
ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA)
Knowledge of Java + Struts (a plus)
Experience with financial and/or complex systems (a plus)
JasperReports and/or JasperStudio (a plus)
Knowledge of UML modeling (a plus)
