Role Overview
- Assist with evaluation of presuit claims.
- Communication with clients.
- Respond to demands.
- Draft and respond to discovery.
- Assist with and take (once trained) depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Learn trial skills and sit second chair at trial.
- Prepare legal research.
- Draft motions and attend hearings, attend inspections.
Requirements
- Previous experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense, personal injury, bad faith, and catastrophic injury, is preferred but not required.
- Strong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required
- Stellar academic credentials
