About this role

Lead the general ledger team and group accounting functions across the EMEA region
Oversee and coordinate the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB (German Commercial Code)
Optimize internal finance processes and improve interfaces between the finance department and other business units
Lead accounting projects to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements
Analyze, interpret and reconcile financial reports and general ledger accounts
Work closely with auditors on the preparation of interim and annual financial statements

Degree in Business Administration or Economics with a focus on Finance
Several years of professional experience in accounting
Solid knowledge of accounting standards under HGB and IFRS
Initial leadership experience in finance or demonstrable leadership potential
Expertise in standardizing and digitizing general ledger processes
Project management experience, ideally in leading international and cross-functional projects
Strong proficiency in SAP and relevant accounting software
Confident communication skills in German and English
