Role Overview
Develop and implement a future-proof, sustainable procurement strategy
Provide both functional and disciplinary leadership and drive targeted development of operational and strategic procurement teams
Establish, evaluate and continuously improve efficient supplier structures
Implement and manage dual
and multiple-sourcing strategies to minimize risk
Digitalize procurement and enable data-driven management using modern tools and systems
Optimize procurement processes in close collaboration with production and supply chain planning
Requirements
Completed vocational training or degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in technical procurement, including at least three years in a leadership role
Clear strategic and analytical mindset with a strong focus on process and optimization
Confident handling of data and KPI systems to support sound decision-making
Solid knowledge of contract law and strong negotiation skills
Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g. D365 F&O) and proficient use of digital procurement tools
Proven strength in supplier management and cost analysis
Leadership personality with technical understanding, high degree of personal responsibility and business-fluent communication skills in German and English
