Lead FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and CDS Hooks integrations with VA EHR systems including VistA/CPRS and Oracle Health
Define and drive system architecture and microservices approach for the platform
Set technical direction for the engineering team and stay hands-on where it counts
Champion DevSecOps, CI/CD, and containerization practices across frontend and backend teams
Evaluate AWS services and recommend cloud-native improvements post-migration
Bridge the gap between engineering, product, and stakeholders — translating technical complexity into clear direction

Hands-on FHIR and API integration experience in complex, integration-heavy environments
Experience integrating with VA EHR systems such as VistA/CPRS or Oracle Health strongly preferred
Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
Experience with Terraform and Helm is a plus
Familiarity with VA IAM, EntraID, or Okta is a plus

Communicates clearly across technical and non-technical audiences, whether in a whiteboard session or a stakeholder update.
