About this role
Role Overview
You analyze tender documents and support bid preparation.
You plan the deployment of materials, personnel and equipment and develop construction sequencing and logistics plans.
You prepare site setup and safety concepts.
You coordinate subcontractors during the bidding phase and assess technical risks.
You create and maintain schedules taking trade sequences into account.
You align deadlines with project stakeholders and monitor construction progress.
You develop optimization scenarios in the event of schedule deviations and document schedule changes.
You support contract variation/claims assessments and prepare reports for clients.
You apply Lean methodologies to optimize processes.
Requirements
Degree in civil engineering, architecture or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in work preparation and/or scheduling in building construction (practical experience with knowledge of technological dependencies is desirable)
Confident use of project management software (e.g., MS Project, ASTA Powerproject)
Knowledge of VOB, HOAI and relevant standards
Analytical thinking, a structured working style and strong communication skills
