Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Participates in the development and integration of advanced systems related to maritime applications including submarine systems and sub-sea warfare systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience; Ph.D. and 4 years of experience.
Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Considerable Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) / Digital Engineering (DE) experience
SysML modeling, CAMEO applications, or other MBSE software experience
Functional and LogicL architectures
